Accompaniment is walking alongside community members in a way that respects their dignity, agency, and courage as they navigate our complicated, often intimidating immigration system. Seattle Christians Organizing Project will be providing Accompaniment Training which Heather Hedlund be co-leading. If you'd like to attend this training, please RSVP here.

This training will prepare you to

1. Accompany migrant community members navigating crucial legal and administrative appointments and offer assistance as needed;
2. Provide compassionate moral support through these appointments which can be stressful and challenging, especially when facing legal issues or immigration proceedings. 

It will be a 3 hour-long in-person training.
