Sharing Life Lessons through Folk Tales

Africans on the Eastside alongside other community partners will host an evening of cross-cultural folktales, inviting storytellers to share traditional stories that have been used to teach important life lessons. Dive into the world of folk tales from around the globe and explore the timeless lessons hidden within these captivating stories. Gambian kora player and storyteller, Pa Bobo Jobarteh as well as two other storytellers will be featured.
This event is part of the City of Bellevue Cultural Center without Walls programming and features storytellers from Africans on the Eastside, Pride Across the Bridge and Indian American Cultural Services.
