just action rothstein conversation

One of the recommended resources in our Just Neighbors series was the book The Color of Law by Richard Rothstein. Along with his daughter, housing policy expert Leah Rothstein, he has released a new book called Just Action: How to Challenge Segregation Enacted Under the Color of Law. This book provides practical strategies for local groups to address segregation in their communities. Seattle University is hosting an event featuring a book discussion with Leah and Richard Rothstein.

This event is also a celebration of the passage of HB1474, the Covenant Homeownership Account & Program Act which addresses the historical impacts of housing discrimination in the state of Washington. This is a great opportunity to connect with others in the community and learn about ways to act as just neighbors.

Registration is required.
