Check out this great opportunity to connect with the community where we live. Pastor Dudley encourages us to share Jesus' love wherever we live, work, play, and learn, but sometimes it can feel hard to get out of our personal bubbles and meet new people. On Saturday, May 14, you have a great opportunity to learn more about how to love the city of Bellevue and make new connections.
The 2022 edition of the Neighborhoods Conference – "Experience Bellevue!" – will be Saturday May 14, 9 a.m.-3 p.m. at outdoor sites around the city and/or inside at City Hall. There will be walking tours of Wilburton, the Spring District and East Link, as well as popular parks such as the Botanical Garden and Lewis Creek Park. Explore distinctive neighborhoods. Learn about the evolution of Bellevue's downtown, the Grand Connection and our changing skyline. You can even take a bus tour to learn about affordable housing in Bellevue. At City Hall, join skills workshops to tackle the art of listening, explore how to respond to cultural bias, learn lifesaving CPR or how to create an emergency kit on a shoestring budget.
Check out the Experience Bellevue! website for the full catalog of workshops and to register.
