 State of Israel is one of the most challenging issues facing U.S. Christian
 s today. It has brought incalculable loss for the Palestinians and increasi
 ng pain and insecurity for the State of Israel. Rev. Munther Isaac of the C
 hristmas Lutheran Church in Bethlehem has named Gaza "the moral compass of 
 our times."</p><p>Why has it been so hard for us -- clergy, lay leaders, ch
 urchgoers and others -- to talk about Palestine? What are the questions, fe
 ars and concerns that often keep us from grappling with this urgent situati
 on of concern to us as Christians and as Americans? Join us in Seattle on M
 arch 22 for an opportunity to share your questions and talk with colleagues
  about these vital issues, including:</p><ul type="disc"><li>The rise of an
 tisemitism.</li><li>Speaking up for Palestinians while still preserving rel
 ationships with Jewish colleagues.</li><li>The meaning of the biblical prom
 ises to the Jewish people in today's world.</li><li>Understanding Christian
